Adult Sailing Refresher Course

The Sailing Refresher Course is designed for sailors who have previously completed the MYC Beginner Sailing Class or already have experience sailing a 420 and would like to refresh their skills and build confidence on the water.

This course provides additional practice in boat handling, sail trim, points of sail, tacking and jibing, launching, and general safety procedures. Instruction focuses on reinforcing proper techniques and improving comfort and control while sailing MYC 420 sailboats.

Course Details

• Open to participants 18 years and older
• Participants must have completed the MYC Beginner Class or already know how to sail a 420
• Each session consists of a two-day weekend course
• 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM each day

• Small class size for personalized instruction (minimum 2 / maximum 4 students)
• Instructor: Chris or Malo

This course is ideal for sailors who want to get back on the water, practice their skills, and prepare for independent sailing or boat rentals at MYC.

Spaces are limited and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

MYC Members: $150
Additional participant from the same MYC membership: $150
Non-members: $200
