The event will be governed by the rules as defined The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), the Rules of the Laser Class Association, and the Sailing Instructions. In case of a conflict between the Notice of Race and the Sailing Instructions, the Sailing Instructions prevail.
When there is any disagreement on the interpretation of the racing rules, class rule or sailing Instructions, the English text shall prevail.
The Race Committee reserves the right to make minor rule changes. Any rule changes will be posted at the event on the Official Notice Board and communicated verbally at the competitors briefing
About this event
The 45th Guam- Japan Goodwill Regatta is Guam's international regatta for dinghies held annually on the waters of Sasa Bay. In 2025, the regatta will be run from March 14-March 17.
Breakdown of fees:
Fees include entry fee, boat rental, race day lunches, welcome reception, and dinner at awards party.
ILCA 4 & ILCA 6: $ 150
Optimist: $ 100
Boats are available beginning Friday, March 14th at 10 AM on a first come first basis to FULLY registered participants. Chartered boats will be complete with hull, foils, spars, tiller & blades, sails & battens, and rigging are provided.
ILCA 4 & ILCA 6: $50
