US Powerboating-Certified Safe Powerboat Handling Course

About this event

The Marianas Yacht Club is sponsoring a very special training opportunity for boaters in the month of February!
We have flown in a US Sailing/US Powerboating-certified instructor to conduct two separate boating certification courses.  These courses are open to any interested boater in Guam or the Marianas. Spots are limited and offered on a first registered and paid basis.
Conducted by Morgan Collins, US Powerboating certified instructor, this 16-hour hands-on, on-the-water course is for anyone who wants to learn how to safely operate a small motorboat and improve their boat handling skills. No previous experience is required! The US Coast Guard and the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) recognizes the certification provided by this course. Age requirement is 10 years and older.
The fee for this course is $200 for Marianas Yacht Club members and $250 for non-members, which covers instruction, textbook, certification, and use of a course powerboat.
If you have any questions about the course, please contact Commodore Mike Cassidy directly at by email commodore@marianasyachtclub.org or WhatsApp at 671-488-8834.

Don’t pass up this opportunity to build your boating skills and add an instructor certification!

Registration is with Marianas Yacht Club directly.
